Learning objectives
The objectives of the course are to help the students understand and learn the new technologies used in prevention and therapy of some neurological diseases (immunotherapy with construction of a recmbinant antigen, therapeutic applications of neural stem cells).

14 hours of formal lessons. Topics: new strategies for prevention and therapy of Alzheimer's disease. Prevention of ischemic stroke. Stem cells in Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Prevention and therapy of damage arising from spinal cord injury. Dystrophinopathies.
