Learning objectives

The course aims to make students acquire a repertoire of knowledge, skills and abilities for critical reflection with respect to the use of research, given the importance of the same profession in nursing and midwifery. Students will have to demonstrate that they have understood and assimilated the research process at all stages that compose it, highlighting the differences inherent in the various types of studies. They will be able to read and critically analyze the results of the research, nationally and internationally, drawing on the sources of the best available evidence. Will be built with the students the basic steps of the research process, with particular level of detail for the first two phases.
Students will specifically outline a possible problem area, to properly formulate the research question, identify and formulate the research hypothesis and select the design of relevant research.
We aim to make the students the main tools for the preparation of a research-quantitative, applicable to specific areas of expertise nursing and midwifery.
