Teaching quality

Quality Assurance means:

  • defining quality policies in line and synergy with the University's strategic directions and reliable and robust procedures through which the governing bodies can implement them;
  • implementing activities to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in all the University's internal processes, first and foremost in the service of the quality of education and research;
  • creating awareness in all those who work in the University so that everyone's tasks are carried out competently and promptly, the services provided are effective, and a record is kept of what has been done to monitor and measure results.

Student Opinion Survey Questionnaire (OPIS)

The student opinion survey questionnaire (OPIS) is a tool designed to detect student opinion with a view to improving teaching, quality and the organisation of Degree Courses and is an integral part of the evaluation system. For students, it is an important opportunity to make their voice heard and actively participate in the life of their degree course, as a guarantee of better Quality Assurance: this is why the University recommends that it be filled in punctually and accurately.

Organisation and responsibility for Course Quality Assurance

For the Degree Course in Philosophical Studies , the responsibility for quality assurance is articulated as follows:

  • The Course Council, which is made up of all the professors/instructors who teach on the course either by teaching assignment or by borrowing their teaching.

They analytically consider the reports of the Evaluation Committee and the Joint Teacher-Student Committee, the students' evaluations of the Course organisation and teaching, the data provided by ANVUR regarding a certain number of indicators and the AlmaLaurea Reports. On the basis of the information, evaluations and data gathered in this way, they collaborate in the drafting of the SMA (Annual Monitoring Form), the SUA-CdS and the Cyclic Review Report. Constantly listening to and responding to student complaints, addressed both directly to course professors/instructors and the Education Manager, and to their representative on the Degree Course.

The quality assurance process implemented by the Course as a whole and articulated in accordance with the document on the Quality Assurance Management System of the Degree Courses of the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries.

The Course is in constant liaison with the Department's Steering Committee and has set up a Unified Steering Committee with the Second-Cycle Degree Course in Philosophy to monitor the Course's specific training course catalogue and their consistency both with possible job opportunities and with further studies.

The Degree Course participated in 2019 and 2021 in ANVUR's TECO-D editions for the assessment of initial status and increase in disciplinary competences.

 

 

Single Annual Report Card

The Single Annual Report Card (SUA) is a management tool for the design, implementation, self-assessment and re-design of the degree course.

The Single Annual Course Report Card can be viewed on the ministerial website UNIVERSITALY.
