Learning objectives

The aim of the course is to train graduates who can offer their professionalism both in the zootechnical field and in the broad context of technologies applied to animal production. The course is organised to provide a common basic preparation for all students in the disciplines included in the L-38 class.
The training course is then structured in curricula. These curricula have been taken into consideration in order to respond to precise needs for cultural qualification within the potential of the catchment area from which the students come and to ensure that graduates can quickly enter the world of work in their home area but, at the same time, have a preparation that will enable them to acquire a further academic qualification through enrolment in a second-cycle degree course.
The course does not provide for compulsory attendance (except for practical activities) and the student will take the examinations in accordance with any prerequisite established for this purpose.
The preparation is characterised by a teaching load divided between theoretical classes and practical activities to enable the student to constantly learn the various disciplines with particular reference to those of a professional nature.
The course units of the student's choice and the internship activity will be evenly spread over the three years of the degree course with the aim of bringing the student closer, even though gradually, to the problems of the operational world.
This modality aims to help the student focus learning on the problems of the various professional outlets, starting in the first year of the course.
