Integrated course unit module: Childbirth care, puerperium and neonatology

Learning objectives

The main goal of the course will be to provide the best available resuscitation science, for the most impactful steps to perform in the birthing room and in neonatal period. In addition specific recommendations about the training of resuscitation providers and system of care are provided

Teaching methods

The activities will take place in presence or in telepresence through the use of the Teams platforms. To promote active participation in the course, small group activities will be proposed, with simulation of clinical cases and practical maneuvers on a neonatal manikin.

Assessment methods and criteria

The student's knowledge, their understanding and the ability to apply will be assessed by providing pre and post tests, respectively at the beginning and at the end of the course.
