The module aims to introduce the concept of Artificial Intelligence and the main current techniques used to create intelligent systems.

No preparatory courses

Course unit content

Introduction and possible definitions of Artificial Intelligence.
Turing Test.
Two different approaches: weak AI vs strong AI.
Artificial Intelligence today: symbolic AI vs subsymbolic AI (Machine Learning).
Notes on predictive algorithms.
XAI.
