At the end of the course, the student is expected to be able to:
- know the concepts that underlie nursing discipline and the basics necessary for the drafting of a welfare plan.
- recognise the value of a multicultural vision of society and nursing

Course unit content
The integrated course aims to provide a first approach to the discipline of nursing. The topics addressed are related to nursing methodology (critical thinking, diagnostic taxonomy, nursing process), the available tools that contribute to the realization of the nursing process, the history of the development of the nursing discipline and the models of care. The multicultural and intercultural approach aimed in particular at the assisted person is also discussed.

Teaching methods
Lectures, exercitations with proposal of concrete cases.
Assessment methods and criteria
Cumulative written test (general nursing methodology, evaluation scales in nursing, history of nursing) + oral test for teaching "ethnoanthropology and interculture in nursing".
The final grade consists of the weighted average between the two tests. To access the oral exam you must have passed the written test.
The examination methods will be detailed in the classroom and published on the Elly pages of the individual courses.
