The module is about the basic notions of linguistics, which is the scientific study of the human language and its structure.
The primary course objective is to get the students to reflect on the way everyone uses this essential communication tool.
The subject will be introduced through the different levels in which the language structures itself, trying to highlight the scopes of action in healthcare settings, within which the knowledge of linguistics can be useful.
