Learning objectives

To get competences re: theatre criticism,
performance criticism,
festival criticism

Prerequisites

None. It is necessary the pesence to the classes and also the to involve with at least 5 plays among the many scheduled by the three festivals

Course unit content

NARRATING THE FESTIVALS
A project of applied didactic, concering the criticism of plays and performances and practicing journalism, in form of reportage of cultural practices (theatre festivals).

The theatre festivals concerned are: Insolito Festival (MicroMacro, Parma, 30 august - 21 october) Periferico Festival (Collettivo Amigdala, Modena, 13-29 october), and Gender Bender (il Cassero, Bologna, 31 october- 15 november).

The time schedule of this course is two classes a week (no three) from september 18 to november 13, so to follow the festivals agenda
