Learning objectives

At the end of the course the student will be able to apply knowledge and understanding of the theoretical aspects in the areas of education (and education in general). the student will also be able to identify the most appropriate empirical research design to a specific educational situation.

Prerequisites

The examination of "Theory and methodology of teaching nursing and midwifery" can only be taken after the completion of the tests of "Psychology applied to group dynamics and social" and "History and philosophy of nursing and midwifery" .

Course unit content

The course, thanks to additional passing by the multidisciplinary areas pedagocici, psychological moving to the specific disciplinary field of nursing and midwifery, aims to promote knowledge and understanding of the content related to the size of the subject in learning, in particular by using the general theory of 'learning, motivation, learning styles, learning to learn.

Teaching methods

Participatory and interactive lessons led discussions in the classroom with the help of visual aids and authentic material; gruppo.Simulazioni work in the classroom.
The educational activities will be conducted with a continuous enhancement of the direct experiences of the participants and the interactions between individuals in learning as well as references to thematic interconnections between the modules of the course.

Lectures will be held on-site in compliance with safety standards, provided that further instructions on the ongoing health emergency are not implemented. Supporting material will be available on the specific, student-reserved platform (Elly) and will include slide presentations, audio-video aids or video-recording of the lectures.

Assessment methods and criteria

The learning process will be constantly monitored during the conduct of activities in the classroom through the solicitation of specific feedback.
Summative assessment will be made by means of an oral examination during which you request an application to a concrete case of treaties content and skills promoted during the activities carried out in the classroom, all bearing
to verify both the knowledge and understanding of the various disciplines
the ability to integrate the same knowledge for the application in
educational settings.

In case of the persistence of the health emergency, the oral exams will be conducted remotely, as follows:
remote oral questions, through the Teams platform (guide http://selma.unipr.it/); Written examination, multiple choice test.
The written oral exams will be conducted remotely, as follows:
structured written test conducted remotely (by Teams and Elly). The test consists of 30 multiple choice questions on the course contents (reference texts + documents uploaded to Elly during the course). There is no penalty for incorrect answers.
The final mark, reported directly on Esse3, will correspond to the arithmetic average of the assessments obtained in the written test.
