The student will have to know the basic concepts of the main orthopedic and traumatological pathologies with particular reference to the instrumental investigations to be performed in individual cases.

The course aims to provide students with the relevant skills, recognition and interpretation of signs and symptoms and classification of the disease with particular reference to the instrumental investigations to be performed in individual cases.. It is also proposed to provide expertise for the establishment of a effective communication with the patient and his family

Instrumental and clinical diagnostic framework and principles of therapy of: Congenital hip dysplasia,
Congenital clubfoot,
Hollow foot, flat foot, Hallux valgus, Metatarsalgia, Torticollis, Osteochondrosis, Scoliosis, Coxarthrosis, Gonarthrosis, Vertebral osteoarthritis, Painful disc pain, General information on primary and metastatic tumors,
General principles of traumatology (bruises, sprains, dislocations and fractures), Fracture healing processes, Delayed union and pseudarthrosis, capsulo-ligamentous and meniscal lesions of the knee, Carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's disease, rhizoarthrosis, trigger finger Rheumatoid hand, stenosing tenovaginalitis (M. De quervain)

Teaching methods
The course will be held through lectures to Students either in the classroom (“in presenza”) or in synchronous-streaming (“in telepresenza”) if necessary on the Teams platform. Therefore, the opportunity of Student/Teacher interaction will be preserved both face to face and remotely, by the simultaneous use of the Teams platform.
Lectures will be supported by slide presentations, which will be available to students on the Elly platform (https://elly.medicina.unipr.it).
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination.
In case of the persistence of the health emergency, the exams will be conducted remotely, as follows:
