Learning objectives

Aim of this course is to acquire the knowledge of the main psychological functions underlying human behaviour, movement and sports. The understanding of mental functioning will take place both through models of physiological development, in different age groups, and through the analysis of dysfunctional models (neuropsychology and psychopathology).

Assessment methods and criteria

A written exam (multiple choises) will be used to determine if students have met the goals of this course. The knowledge of the general principles of the mental functions will be tested. The capacity of students to make connections among these principles and sports behaviour will be tested as well.
