At the end of the course, participants will have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary for planning, managing and organizing efficient companies and health services.

Concept of health and influencing factors. The right to health and conditioning factors. Historical evolution of the concept of health in civilization and its protection. Evolution of the legal-sanitary-organizational structure of Healthcare: from the Hospital (L. Mariotti 1968), to the USL (the Healthcare Reform: L.833 / 78), to the Companyization (Legislative Decree 502/92 and 517 / 93, Bis Reform), to health authorities with entrepreneurial autonomy (Bindi Reform: Leg.vo 229/99 ° Ter Reform). The "mission" of the S.S.N. Objectives and methods of production and provision of health services. Public health and private health. Conditions for opening a health facility: authorization, accreditation, agreement. Healthcare companies: local health authorities and hospitals; classification, skills, territorial organization, requirements. Bodies of the Health Authorities: competences, responsibilities. Typicality of the "sanitary product". Isorisorse systems and methods of financing of Healthcare Trusts: ASL, capital share, Hospitals, by operating volumes (D.R.G., R.O.D.).
