The aim of the course is to study in depth the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying the main cognitive functions and some examples of animal and human behaviour
Basic knowledge of neuron physiology and of the neurophysiology of sensory and motor functions

Traditional lesson, seminars, article reading and discussion. Lectures will be held mainly on-line, while specific lectures and lessons for clarifications will be held, in smaller groups, in the classroom (“in presenza”) and in streaming on the Teams platform.
Lectures will be supported by slide presentations, which will be available to students on the Elly platform (https://elly.medicina.unipr.it).
Assessment methods and criteria
Final oral examination on the suggested textbooks, on lectures and on further material uploaded on Elly. In case of the persistence of the health emergency, the exams will be conducted remotely, as follows:
remote oral questions, through the Teams platform (guide http://selma.unipr.it/).
