Learning objectives

The learning process will provide theoretical and practical basis of the discipline. Student will know main aspects of physiology of children, nursing and treatment of principal pediatric diseases

Course unit content

Acquisition of skills in the management of the healthy newborn, in the main cases that require emergency or elective hospitalization in pediatrics and in the cases that can be managed on an outpatient basis.

Teaching methods

The course will be held through lectures to Students in the classroom. Lectures will be supported by slide presentations, which might be available to students on the Elly platform (https://elly2020.medicina.unipr.it/).

Assessment methods and criteria

Written examination. Results are published in a week. Subsequentluy oral examination and immediate communication of score Score 0-30.In case of the persistence of the health emergency, the exams will be conducted remotely through the Teams platform (guide http://selma.unipr.it/).

Other information
