Learning objectives

Knowledge and understanding capabilities:

At the end of the course, students will have a good knowledge of construction law.
Students will also have a basic knowledge of Cultural Heritage Law and of the main legal issues concerning the Italian and European systems in the topic of Environmental Law.

Proficiency:
At the end of the course the student will be able to orient himself independently in the field of construction law and will have an introductory knowledge of cultural heritage and environmental law.

Prerequisites

The knowledge of the basic concepts of the administrative law is recommended

Teaching methods

Lessons will be held in classroom and, at the same time, will be recorded for students unable to attend or in the case of distance learning

First step
The first part of the course will be dedicated to the deepening of general issues of construction law, cultural heritage and environmental law .

Second step
Then students, divided into groups, will be invited (if possible) to study and present to the classroom, using slides and reports, the main topics of the course. Students will be supposed to learn and acquire the contents taken from the materials provided by the Professor using a cooperative way (cooperative learning).

Third step
Always divided into groups, students will finally study the systems related to the subject in the different countries that they will choose to virtually visit. Each group will then have to submit one or more report.
After the second step and at the end of the course, students will be invited to discuss their projects with some stakeholders.

Assessment methods and criteria

Oral exam.

The evaluation will be distinguished between attending and non-attending students.

• Attending students:
- 40% of the score will be depend on the oral exam concerning traditional lectures;
- 50 % on the results of the second and third step works;
- 10% on participation, commitment and cooperation shown during the lessons.

• Non-attending students:
traditional oral examination, where will be evaluated the knowledge of each students on the materials provided by the Professor.
