Learning objectives
At the end of the course students should have:
- aquired, in an integrated manner, the necessary knowledge on the reference normative frame presented during the course
- understand the lenguages and methods related to safety with a specific reference to the chemical ambit
- acknowledged the disciplinary lenguages of contiguous professional sectors (giuridic, engeneering sanitary)
Prerequisites
First level laurea degree in scientific disciplines and a good knowledge in chemical disciplines
Course unit content
Critical reading of the chemical aspects of the italian legislative decrees 81/08 , 156/06 and 105/15 (Seveso III)
Full programme
The program of this course is divided in two strictly connected parts.
First part: refer to the classification, labelling and packaging (CLP) of chemicals, flammable limits fire triangle, extinguishers, explosive atmospheres, exposure limits (TLV, TLV-TWA, TLV-STEL, TLV-C)
Second part:
with regard to D. Lgs. 81/08:part IX with annex; with regards to D.Lgs. 152/06: parts III and V with annex; D. Lgs. 105/15.

Teaching methods
3 credits, 21 hours of frontal lectures
Assessment methods and criteria
the exam is written, evaluated on a 0-30 score and consists in 15 closed questions with closed answers and 5 questions with open answer. At each of the closed answer 1 point will be assigned, while to the other 5 up to 3 point will be assigned.
