Course without an entrance test Eligible non-EU students n. 5 of whom 1 Chinese nationality Marco Polo Project Enrolment: from 18.00 on 08/07 to 21/10/2022 12.00 a.m. GENERAL ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES The enrolment procedure is exclusively online and can be carried out from the University's website  homepage www.unipr.it under "Enrolment On Line" (www.unipr.it/iscrizioni).
PRE-ENROLLMENT APPLICATION TO MASTER'S DEGREE COURSES Students enrolled in a bachelor's degree course in the 2021-2022 academic year who intend to graduate within that academic year and continue their studies in a Master's degree programme, must submit an online pre-enrolment application by 21 October 2022. Following this pre-enrolment, the undergraduate student is admitted to attend the Master's degree course as an auditor student. A pre-enrolled student may not acquire ECTS credits from the master's degree course until he or she has obtained the bachelor's degree. To activate this position, the undergraduate student is required to pay a non-refundable €50 pre-enrolment fee.
After graduating, the student may finalise enrolment in the master's degree course by paying tuition fees. Payment and subsequent enrolment must be made, under penalty of forfeiture, by 31 March 2023.
For the years following the first year, registrations can be made from 5 September to 11 November 2022.

PART TIME registration

Since the 2015-2016 academic year, the figure of the part-time student has been introduced at the University of Parma.

Admission requirements

Students applying for enrolment must have acquired a systemic culture of the environment and basic and instrumental skills in the mathematical, physical and chemical fields; they must also possess basic skills in the naturalistic, ecological and environmental fields, acquired in three-year science or technology bachelor's degrees. English language at B1 level at least is also required.
Admission is open to bachelor's degree graduates of degree classes according to the regulations of Italian Ministerial Decree 509/99 or Italian Ministerial Decree 270/04, or to second-  (Italian Ministerial Decree 509/99) (Italian Ministerial Decree 270/04) and single-cycle degree graduates of the previous educational systems, or a degree awarded abroad that is recognised as suitable. and to graduates that have achieved a total of at least 48 ECTS credits in the mathematical, physical and chemical fields and at least one of the biological, geological and agricultural fields.
Fulfilment of the requirements is assessed by the Teaching Committee by means of an interview during which the candidate's previous training and personal background are verified.

Admission procedures

Enrolment in the Master's degree course in Environmental and Resource Sciences and Technology is not subject to a quota system.
In order to be admitted to the degree course, it is necessary to be in possession of a bachelor's degree or another recognised qualification, including one obtained abroad, by the deadline set out in the University Prospectus.
Graduates applying for the LM STAR must have acquired basic and instrumental competences in the mathematical, physical and chemical fields; they must also possess basic competences in the naturalistic and ecological fields, acquired in first-cycle degree courses in Classes 27 (ex Ministerial Decree 509/99) and L32 (ex Ministerial Decree 270/04) or in bachelor's degrees in the biological, geological or technological fields.
Bachelor's graduates in Natural and Environmental Sciences in class 27 (according to the regulations of Ministerial Decree 509/99) and class L32 (according to the regulations of Ministerial Decree 270/04) are directly admitted.
Bachelor's degree graduates of degree classes according to the regulations of Ministerial Decree 509/99 or Ministerial Decree 270/04, or in possession of a specialised degree (Ministerial Decree 509/99) or magistral degree (Ministerial Decree 270/04), or of a four-year and five-year degree of the previous didactic regulations, or of a degree obtained abroad and recognised as suitable, and who have achieved a total of at least 48 ECTS credits in the mathematical, physical and chemical fields and at least one of the biological, geological and agricultural fields are also admitted. English at B1 level at least is also required.
The fulfilment of the requirements indicated at point 5 is assessed by the degree course Teaching Committee composed by the committee president, at least two professors appointed by the Board and a student representative, through an interview held from May to October on the dates indicated in the section below. Interested students who apply for evaluation will be called for interview by e-mail, as soon as possible.
In the event that the points 4) and 5) requirements are not present, the course units needed to be recovered by the student before enrolling in the master's degree STAR will be indicated.
Even though not meeting the curricular requirements specified in paragraphs 4 and 5 above, graduates who believe to possess the skills described in paragraph 3 above, may still apply for admission by submitting a detailed curriculum vitae that will be assessed by the Teaching Committee and discussed at the interview.
The evaluation request should be sent by email to star@unipr.it. The interview focus on the candidate's previous training and the main environmental topics covered by the degree course.
