Learning objectives

Teaching aims to learn the characteristics of team sport highlighting situational aspects thereof. Upon completion of this course students should be able to know the fundamental didactics together with regulations as well as learn a design methods suitable for introduction to team sports

THEORY and methodology of training: training Definition; Exercise theory; Training principles: principle, principle of load cycles, the principle of specialization and the principle of proportionality; Exercise theory; Training model; Classification of activity; Classification of sport; Classification of skill; Definition of dependants; Load parameters; Supercompensation (depending on the level of tolerance, according to kind); Progression of cargoes; Volume ratio-load intensity; Volume ratio-load intensity and endurance performance. Volume ratio-load intensity and strength; Load ratio-recovery; Mechanisms of fatigue; The effect of the doms; Overtraining; Evaluation of overtraining; Cardiopulmonary parameters in overtraining; Blood chemical parameters in overtraining; Neuro endogenous parameters in overtraining; Exercise programming; The components of a system of training; Training model; Exercise diary; Recovery techniques (active, psychological energy reserves). • RECOVERY: active recovery and its benefits; The passive recovery; Recovery with stimulation support; The recovery in water; The effects of immersion: respiratory and pulmonary parameters at rest; cardiovascular parameters at rest; metabolic parameters at rest. • FUNCTIONAL ASSESSMENT in TEAM SPORTS: the identification and definition of functional assessment; Stages of adjustment and control of training; The evaluation in sport physical activities; Engine testing; Evaluation team sports; The assessment Instrumentation in team sports; Problems in functional assessment in team sports; The role of Physical Trainer; The evaluation function of the Physiotherapist in the athlete (medical, articular surface features and trim in orthostatic position and osteopathic assessment); Functional evaluation of Physical Trainer in the athlete (natural history, postural assessment, assessing the strength, body composition, assessment of flexibility and joint mobility); Functional assessment tools: protractors, inclinometers, isokinetics, etc; Definition of Range of motion; Predisposing factors in the prevention of accidents; Edipemiologia and methods of accident; In injury management: prevention and recovery; The stability core: prevention and rehabilitation; Field prevention programmes; Reathletisation programs.

Teaching methods

Lectures will be conducted with the use of oral presentations with presentation of slides and interactive involvement of the student according to the schedule defined at the beginning of academic year

Assessment methods and criteria

The evaluation of the degree of preparation of the student will be with oral exams and focus on the content of the topics defined by the educational program
