The course aims to provide students the essential legal and medico-legal elements for the practice of nurses and midwives, with particular reference to the issues in the matter related to the proper management of health records and the concepts of professional responsibility , in the field of criminal law, civil law and discipline.

Topics: tasks and functions of Forensic Medicine, The legal framework of the health professions and nursing midwife: regulatory developments; hints of Criminal Law and the main crimes of public health interest; improper exercise of the profession, the health records: clinical relevance and legal offenses forgery; organ transplants and tissue: the reference standard; professional responsibility in the health sector: civil and criminal law aspects and related case law.
