Understand the psychological aspects of gender violence and love addiction in order to recognize them and structure psychosocial intervention projects.

Course unit content
The theoretical bases of the Psychology of gender violence will be described with particular attention to the cycle of violence within the couple's relationship, to the types of maltreating subjects from a behavioral and personological point of view. In the second part of the theoretical discussion we will address the topic of love addiction, its definition and the relational mechanisms that structure and reinforce it, having as a frame of reference the Attachment theory and the most recent scientific research present in the literature.

Teaching methods
Interactive frontal lessons. Discussions with
students will always be favoured, also
with a view to developing argumentative
and critical skills.
Assessment methods and criteria
The examination is unique for all
modules, is written and consists of a multiple-choice test relating to the topics
covered in all modules.
The test consists of 30 questions and
each question corresponds to one mark.
For each question only one answer is
correct.
The students must answer all questions
compulsorily.
Each student has one hour to complete
the test. For Erasmus and special needs
students the duration of the test will be 1
hour and 20 minutes.
