Learning objectives

To acquire knowledge and understanding of the course subjects

law and public contracts law
Proficiency:
At the end of the course the student will be able to orient themselves independently and interact in the
world of law, especially in matters concerning planning law and public procurement law.

Teaching methods

Lessons will be held in the lecture hall

First stage
At the beginning of the course, we will proceed with an analysis of some basic concepts concerning private and administrative law, concepts of interest to the technical professions (traditional lectures).

Second stage
Then students, divided into groups, will be invited to study and present the main topics of the course to the class, using slides and reports. Students will be expected to learn and acquire the contents taken from the materials provided by the Professor in an interactive way (that is, through cooperative learning and learning by doing).

Third stage
Lastly, still working in groups, students will study some legal systems relative to the different countries that they will choose to visit virtually. Each group will then have to submit one or more report.
After the second stage, and at the end of the course, students will be invited to discuss their projects with some stakeholders.

Assessment methods and criteria

Oral exam.

• Attending students:
- 40% of the score will depend on the oral exam concerning traditional lectures;
- 50 % of the final score will be based on the results of the work carried out in the second and third stages of the course,
- 10% of the final score will be based on on the level of participation, commitment and cooperation shown during the lessons.
• Non-attending students:
a traditional oral examination which will be based on the materials provided by the Professor
