Characteristics of the final test
The final examination for the award of the degree of Master's Degree in 'Engineering for the Food Industry' consists of a thesis, its exposition and discussion in English, on a subject requiring a significant and demanding design or research activity in the food sector, carried out as part of one of the envisaged courses or other training activities.
The paper should demonstrate originality and mastery of the subject matter, the ability to work independently and a good level of communication skills.
The report for the final examination must be written in English.
The Master's Degree Committee will make an overall assessment of the candidate's basic and professional preparation, taking into account the results of the candidate's entire university career, including the work related to the preparation of the thesis.

Conduct of the final examination
The final examination for the degree of Master's Degree in Plant and Machinery Engineering of the Food Industry consists of a thesis, its exposition and discussion, on a subject requiring a significant and demanding design or research activity in the food sector, carried out as part of one of the envisaged courses or other training activities.
The thesis is presented and discussed in front of a committee of at least five lecturers in accordance with the university's didactic regulations (see link), possibly with the aid of presentations/projections of a summary of the thesis.
Four graduation sessions are scheduled during each academic year. The session is open to the public and concludes with the proclamation of the candidates by the President of the commission by proxy of the Magnificent Rector. It can be in cases of force majeure carried out in online mode.
