Access requirements

Admission to the Second Cycle Degree Course in 'Engineering for the Food Industry' requires a three-year university degree or diploma or another recognised foreign qualification.
Prior to enrolment, possession of the curricular requirements must be ascertained and the adequacy of personal preparation verified, in accordance with the procedures specified below and fully defined in the study course's didactic regulations.
In view of the international character of this course of study, a language proficiency certificate of at least level B2 is also required. The way in which knowledge of English language level B2 and the knowledge required for admission is tested is defined in the course regulations.

1) Curricular requirements The curricular requirements that must be fulfilled for enrolment refer to numbers of CFUs obtained in the following subject areas:

- at least 36 CFU in the following areas:

For graduates from abroad, the verification of curricular requirements may be carried out by considering appropriate equivalences between the courses followed with profit and those of the Engineering SSDs. Any curricular additions, in terms of university ECTS credits, must be approved by the Course Council and acquired prior to the verification of individual preparation.
For the acquisition of curricular integrations, the Department of Engineering and Architecture offers the possibility of enrolling in individual courses of study. Enrolment gives the right to attend the required courses, to take the examinations on the scheduled dates of the academic year and to obtain certification of the examinations passed with marks and the corresponding CFUs acquired.

2) Verification of the adequacy of personal preparation The verification of personal preparation is always envisaged and separate from the fulfilment of curricular requirements. It is based on the evaluation of the grade obtained by the student, as specified in the course's Didactic Regulations.
