Learning objectives

1) To describe ethics needs and decision make in ethics process.

2) To illustrate bioethical and medical humanities principles.

3) To illustrate personal professional and deontological identity interactions

4) To describe italian historical evolution of deontology

5) To discuss ethical and deontological issues: beginning of life, health and farmacological research, organs donation, contention restrains, end of life, safety of care, privacy.

Course unit content

The course introduces the student to the understanding of the juridical and deontological principles and criteria which must inspire him in his work towards
of the user-patient, of the colleagues of the organization and of the professional community; focuses on the development of a base of ethical and deontological knowledge that underpins the principles of an autonomous, responsible and consistent professionalism with respect to the problems emerging from the innovations
legislative and technical-scientific evolution.
