Learning objectives


The course aims to provide students with a theoretical knowledge of the disciplines and legal institutions related to the protection of the environment and the production of energy, with particular reference to the renewable one. The aim is also to grasp the practical implications of the study of these disciplines and the interrelation with the other scientific disciplines covered by the Degree Course. More specifically:
Judgment skills: being able to assess the legal impact of professional activity as an engineer, as well as choosing the legal and economic structure more suited to its activity.
Learning skills: being able to deepen knowledge in the field of environmental law, thanks to the autonomous consultation of texts, jurisprudential statements and articles.

Teaching methods


The course aims to illustrate the main regulatory profiles affecting the management engineer in the environmental sector. During the lessons the following learning methods will be used: lectures, case studies, in-depth seminars. From the beginning of the course, they will be present on the Elly platform, slides supporting the lessons and the material for further study.

Assessment methods and criteria


The learning outcomes will be periodically monitored through the provision of intermediate tests and the holding of interactive seminars. The final exam will take place in oral form, in order to assign the vote, expressed in thirtieths. The praise is given in case of excellent mastery of both the contents and the technical vocabulary. The test vote is communicated immediately at the end of the test itself. The student has the right not to accept the assigned grade. Please note that registration on the date chosen for the exam is mandatory for the oral examination.
