Learning objectives

Providing the fundamentals for signal analysis. Represents signals in different domains to understand their properties. Understand the Fourier transform, as well as the Z- and Laplace transforms, and its application.

Prerequisites

Math, Phyiscs.

Course unit content

Basic elements of systems;
Classification of signals;
Analog to digital conversion;
Fourier representations;
Laplace and Z transforms;
Digital filtering.

Lectures and team work.
Lectures will cover both theory and applications.
