Learning objectives

The course aims to transmit the knowledge and use of an international ERP management system, Infor LN, currently used in many Italian and international companies. The main purpose is to give students a basic knowledge of theoretical and practical concepts and the importance of an ERP system integrated in all business areas.

Course unit content

The the course LABORATORY of CORPORATE INFORMATION SYSTEMS involves the use of a digital platform of one of the most widely used ERP information systems internationally called Infor LN. During the course, laboratory exercises will be carried out with the aim of learning and understanding the logic of the multiple functions of the software, for all the main processes or business flows of the supply chain. Specifically, a classic business process based on the Make to Order logic or the Make to Stock logic will be studied in depth.

4. Definition of article structure and release of article data.

6. Plan to inventory process I.

10. Focus: Warehouse setup and warehouse types - EDM.
11. Financial plan to report.

Teaching methods

The course will take place in the university laboratories and the main flows of the Sales, Planning, Technical Department, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production areas of a standard Make to Order or Make to Stock process will be studied.

Assessment methods and criteria

Exam consisting of three exercises dealing with the application of a company business process to be carried out independently on the ERP INFOR LN digital platform made available to the student in a time of 1.5 h.
