Learning objectives
The course allows the student to harmonize the contents of the different modules that are intrinsically linked to each other. The interaction of ionizing radiations with matter exemplified with radio diagnostic but also in radiotherapy techniques that are intrinsically related to the management of clinical data. The course is completed by the radiation protection module in which the interaction of ionizing radiation with matter is analyzed and discuss according with the current legislation (Dgls 101/20) on the protection of workers and patients.

This course aims to provide essential information in Health Physics, Radiation Protection and Clinical Information Systems which will be fundamental for the training of the Radiology Technician

Teaching methods
The lectures will be held on-site in compliance with safety standards, provided that further instructions on the ongoing health emergency are not implemented. Supporting material will be available on the specific, student-reserved platform (Elly) and will include slide presentations, audio-video aids or video-recording of the lectures.
Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of the achievement of the objectives of the course consists of written examination.
In the case of coronavirus emergency, the exams will be performed with written test online using Teams and/or Elly platforms.
