Learning objectives
The main purpose of the course is to give some mathematical theoretical and practical tools, useful in some applications of interest.
Goals at the end of the course
- KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: students will know the main analytical tools to study functions of multiple variables and the main statistical tools for data analysis;
- APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: students will be able to apply the mathematical tools in exercises and applications of interest;
- MAKING JUDGEMENTS: students will be able to deal with new exercises, choosing autonomously the more appropriate method;
- COMMUNICATION SKILLS: students will be able to communicate correctly contents and methods of the course;
- LEARNING SKILLS: students will be able to use tools of the course in applications and problems in different frameworks.
