Learning objectives

Know the main theoretical, methodological and technological approaches for teaching, in particular:
the planning phases of an educational and training project; how to plan educational interventions "for skills"
how to use active and cooperative methods in curriculum teaching; the fundamental principles of docimological reflection
how to build an evaluation test at different levels of structuring; to build an assessment test for skills, also expendable for certification purposes
how to assign meaning to the data collected in the evaluation field; the principles of system evaluation according to the provisions of Presidential ecree 80/2013; to critically read a Self-Assessment Report; how to identify the methodological steps necessary for the drafting of a School Improvement Plan
how to use the media to support teaching, also in reference to inclusive educational activities; the characteristics of teaching and learning processes mediated by the use of technologies within the disciplines included in the various secondary school competition classes

Course unit content

The main theories on the historical-epistemological foundations of teaching
The main strategies of educational and training planning. (+ instruction)
The analysis of the main teaching methods in secondary school.
Docimology and methodological processes for the construction of evaluation tests, consistent with the National Ministries
Links between innovation, experimentation and educational research (also in line with the FIT path that involves the trainee teacher)
Education in / with the media, in teaching.
Assessment of skills and school performance (product evaluation, of
process and system).
The main educational technologies for inclusive education, also with reference to
compensatory strategies.
Empirical, quantitative and qualitative educational research strategies and mixed design, to support the improvement of the quality of formal educational processes (also in system self-assessment)

Assessment methods and criteria

The summative assessment is envisaged, at the end of the course, aimed at expressing an evaluation on a scale of 0/30 in relation to the final achievement, by the formative, of the general and specific training objectives indicated above (test in attendance).
The summative assessment includes a structured written test (with an explicit evaluation scale and communicated in advance with respect to the administration of the test). The test lasts 2 hours.
The test will estimate the achievement of the expected results outlined above in the training objectives section. The test passed with a score equal to or above 18/30 will be considered.
The DSA students can refer to the ELICHE center for the appropriate material

The compulsory textbooks will be communicated during the first lessons.
