Learning objectives
The goal is to enable the student to know and to understand the essential elements of legal and medico-legal related professional activities of a medical radiology technician, in order to allow the student the ability to use the knowledge and understanding gained to assess his professional activities from the perspective of normative-juridical with specific reference to consequences in criminal and civil law, and to detect possible problems,with capacity to meet them and correct them

Course unit content
The lectures provide basic knowledge in relation to the medico-legal aspects of the profession of medical radiology technician.
After introducing the basic concepts of forensic medicine, the legal implications inherent in the concepts of competence, autonomy and interprofessional collaboration will be examined, with reference to the contents of the code of ethics of the medical radiology technician

Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of the achievement of the objectives set by the teaching provides final verification by oral examination. The questions cover the topics covered during the seminar,in order to ascertain whether the student has achieved the goal of deepening knowledge and understanding of both the content of legal issues and legal medicine and the application of the knowledge acquired in of the profession of medical radiology technician.
The final grade will be formulated based on the overall evaluation of the teaching staff of the Integrated Course which owns the teaching in question
