The modern manufacturing companies have to develop new or improved products, at a competitive cost and in a shorter time to market. In this context, at the end of the course the student will know a structured approach and modern methods to do this within a company, knowing how to address best the development of a new product depending on its features.
Applying knowledge and understanding
The student will develop a new product, accounting for market needs, the products / platforms from which to start, competing products, the processes to be implemented within the enterprise and internal/external resources to be committed. He will know how to choose the architecture to be given to the product and to evaluate the number of units sold according to the concept developed, associating an assessment of the industrial cost.
