Learning objectives

The course aims to enable the student to understand and
understand the essential elements of technique, radiation protection and
clinical indications for imaging of the vascular and central nervous system major diseases. The course aims
the purpose of allowing the student to use the knowledge and skills
understanding gained in identifying imaging techniques to
use as part of the major clinical problems.

At the end of the course the student will demonstrate knowledge and understanding about:
-elements of technique and radiation protection
-directions of the various examinations for diagnostic imaging for the study of
various diseases

Course unit content

In the first part of the course will describe different imaging techniques: conventional radiology, ultrasound, computed tomography, RMN, angiography. In the second part of the course
clinical applications will be discussed with particular reference to the semiotics of radiological
major vascular and central nervous system.
