Integrated course unit module: LEGAL OBSERVANCE AND HEALTH ORGANIZATION

Learning objectives

The student must acquire the information needed to analyze from the point of view of forensic their work professionally, with particular attention to the implications with regard to professional liability.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and basic surgical techniques

Course unit content

The course aims to provide an adequate vision of the fundamental legal principles and bioethics, understood as the study of human conduct in the field of life science and health, applied to practice surgical daily. The course aims to describe the progress made by the various specialized branches of surgery and new problems, thus places, its beginning and end of life, health, self-determination and respect for the patient as a person. We aim to stimulate those who are fit for the exercise of the profession of nursing ability of behavioral responses not only technical but also marked by knowledge of values ​​and moral principles for the protection and respect for the primacy of man over the logic of techno-science.

Assessment methods and criteria

The assessment of the achievement of the objectives of the course consists of an oral examination. Through questions about the contents of the course will be determined whether the student has achieved the goal of knowledge and understanding of the content. Through questions regarding prevention strategies and preparation of a care plan will be determined whether the student has achieved the aim of applying the acquired knowledge
