Transfers and course transitions

A student enrolled at another university who wishes to study at our university or who is enrolled at this university and wishes to study elsewhere may apply for a transfer. In the former instance, this is an incoming transfer, in the latter it is an outgoing transfer.
If the student is enrolled at this university, but wishes to change degree course, he/she may apply for a course transition.
Students who enrolled on a given academic year may, by the deadline of the second instalment of fees and without charge, request for the option to change to another degree course. After that date, the option is no longer permitted and it is necessary to apply for a change of course (transition).

Prior assessment of past careers

Those who intend to transfer from other universities, re-enrol with a shortened career (in possession of another university degree), following the loss of student status or withdrawal from another university career, may submit an application for prior assessment.
The application for prior assessment of university credits is used to find out which exams or training activities may be validated as part of the degree course one wishes to undertake (Degree Course in Political Science and International Relations / Second-Cycle Degree Course in International and European Relations) or to request the assessment of one's career in order to ascertain the possession of the entry requirements for the Second-Cycle Degree Course in International and European Relations.
Students who, having transferred from other universities or degree courses at this University or who have previous careers, require an evaluation of the examinations they have taken, in order to be validated for the degree course in Political Science, must fill in the form available at the following link (Application for evaluation of previous career) and send a scanned copy to the Course Quality Assurance Office: (giurisp.didattica@unipr.it)

The Evaluation Committee

The Political Science programmes of study committee, which will assess the applications submitted, will meet on the following dates (NB: applications must be received at least 2 days before the meetings):
2022: 21 April, 20 May, 16 June, 25 July, 6 September, 23 September, 17 October, 5 December
2023: (dates currently fixed): 24 January, 23 February, 23 March
On the same dates, the entrance test may also take place for students who have to take it.
After each meeting, the Committee will send the result of the evaluation to the Student Registry Office, who will then communicate it to the students concerned; in this regard, please indicate a valid and active email address.
