Access requirements

Admission to the second-cycle degree course in Journalism, Publishing Culture and Multimedia Communication requires knowledge corresponding to possession of a first-cycle degree or degree, or other qualification obtained abroad, recognised as suitable in accordance with the laws in force, as well as those skills that allow one to successfully embark on an educational pathway according to this system. The number of ECTS credits required and the academic disciplines suitable for determining and assessing the suitability of candidates, as well as their personal readiness for enrolment, are set out in the Course Regulations.


The course is open to graduates in the classes (D.M. 270/2004) in PHILOSOPHY (L -5), HUMANITIES (L-10), APPLIED LANGUAGES (L-12) POLITICAL SCIENCE AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS (L-36), MODERN LANGUAGES AND CIVILISATIONS (L -11), COMMUNICATION (L-20), SOCIOLOGY (L-40) and previous regulations of the same degree classes.

Graduates from the following classes (ex 270) can also access the course:

In addition to meeting the requirements listed above, admission to the second-cycle degree is subject to passing an assessment (by interview) of the adequacy of the student's personal preparation. This check will be deemed automatically passed if the grade obtained in the first-cycle degree course is equal to or higher than 90/110 (or equivalent grade for degrees obtained abroad). The verification of the curricular requirements of the first-cycle course and the assessment of each individual student will be carried out by the Course Teaching Committee, by means of an interview.
