Enrolment procedures and deadlines

The degree course in Business Administration and Management (ADA) is open access.
However, before carrying out the online enrolment procedure, students interested in enrolling in ADA must carefully read the information in this section of the website to check that they meet the admission requirements and whether they must attend the admission interview.

Important information

Before carrying out the online enrolment procedure, students interested in enrolling in the degree course in Business Administration and Management - ADA - in the academic year 2023/2024 must take careful note of the admission requirements below. Please refer to the deadlines for pre-enrolment and enrolment set out in the Prospectus which is published every year on the University website. 
Info for students who will be attending the interview in November: it is essential, in addition to registering for the interview, to pre-register via the University website by the deadline set by the Prospectus, otherwise you will not be able to attend the interview and subsequent enrolment.

Entry requirements

The course is open-access (no fixed number of students).
The curricular requirements for admission are as follows:

1) a three-year degree (or equivalent four-year degree) from Class L-18 (ex 270/04) or Class 17 (ex 509/99), with specific knowledge of the subjects inherent to the SECS-P/07 sector (proven by having acquired at least 15 credits in this sector),

or

2) a degree from a Class other than those indicated in the previous point, provided that at least 15 credits have been acquired:

- at least 15 credits in the field SECS-P/07;

- at least 10 credits in one or more of the following fields: SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/03, SECS-P/06 or SECS-P/12;

- at least 10 credits in one or more of the following fields: SECS-S/01, SECS-S/03 or SECS-S/06;

- at least 10 credits in one or more of the following fields: IUS/01 or IUS/04,

or

3) a foreign academic qualification recognised as suitable.

Admission procedure

Direct access is open to three-year graduates who meet the above-mentioned entry requirements and have obtained a degree with a mark of 95/110 or higher.

Admission of three-year graduates with a score of less than 95/110 is subject to passing an oral interview on the subjects of Institutions of Business Administration, Accounting and Financial Statements, Analytical Accounting and Commercial Law. The purpose of the interview is to test the candidate's basic skills, so that they can start their Second-cycle degree course with the knowledge they need to do so effectively.

If the candidate fails the interview, he/she is given the opportunity to reapply for the next interview and guidance on how to prepare more effectively.

The interviews are held every year in July, September and November and there is no possibility of holding them in another session.

In order to prepare for the oral examination, it is necessary to study the following bibliography in depth:

For students who do not already have the above-mentioned texts (e.g. from other universities), please proceed as follows: look up the topics covered in the interview from the indexes of the reference texts on the Internet and review these topics in the texts used in your own First-cycle degree programme. The above topics are generally covered in all class 18 LT courses, so it is not essential to purchase or read the texts indicated.

Graduates with a foreign qualification equivalent to or higher than an Italian First-cycle degree must attend the admission interview, regardless of their degree grade, without prejudice to the procedure provided for by current legislation for qualifications obtained abroad.


Those who wish to enrol in ADA and who need to supplement their skills as per the curricular requirements, can enrol in individual courses as per the link below.


Enrolment in individual courses: Enrolment is carried out on-line by connecting to the University website (N.B.: before proceeding with enrolment and payment of the fee, please ensure that you meet the above-mentioned admission requirements).

Also undergraduate students who, however, must have obtained their First-cycle degree before the interview, otherwise the test will be cancelled.

Verification of personal preparation

Access to graduates and three-year graduates with a score lower than 95/110 is subject to passing an oral interview on the topics of business economics institutions, accounting and budgeting, analytical accounting and commercial law.

The aim of the interview is to verify the basic skills and the adequacy of the candidate's personal preparation, in order to start the course of master's studies having the necessary knowledge to tackle it effectively.

Info for students who will take the interview in November: it is essential, in addition to registering for the interview, to pre-register via the University portal within the deadlines set by the Manifesto, under penalty of being unable to participate in the interview and subsequent enrolment. 

  • Information for extra UE students

Extra UE students, in order to register for the ADA course, it is essential to pass the admission interview, as specified on the pollowing page The interview will be held in Italian. 

Please also note that the interview will be held exclusively in person, at Via J. F. Kennedy, 6 (Parma), strictly on the dates indicated on the following session of this page.

No exceptions to the above are permitted.

In case of failure to pass the interview, the candidate is invited to reappear at the next interview and is given instructions for more effective basic preparation.
