The student will acquire the knowledge and comprehension of the following topics:
-the molecular and cellular bases of the disease.
-the translational research from the biology to the clinic.
-the physio-pathological basis of the most important disease in the haematology, oncology and infection field.

Course unit content
During the course there are illustrated the most frequent diseases in the haematology caused by radiation.
Full programme
HAEMATOLOGICAL DISEASE
- anemia, piastrinopenia and leucopenia.
- Acute leukemia
- Lymphoma
ONCOLOGY
- breast cancer, lung cancer, gastro-intestinal cancer, prostate cancer and ovarian cancer.
INFECTION DISEASE
- pulmonary tuberculosis.
