Characteristics of the final examination
The purpose of the final examination is to assess the candidate's ability to explore in depth one of the topics covered on the degree course or, alternatively, to develop a project on topics covered in one or more of the degree programmes.
The final examination may comprise the discussion, before a special committee, of a paper on theoretical or applied problems or project development, or the presentation of a report on the activities carried out as part of an internal or company internship.
The committee, having ascertained the candidate's level of autonomy and mastery of specific methodologies and the acquisition of the additional skills set out in the Dublin descriptor system, gives the candidate a final mark out of 110.

Procedure for the final examination
The final examination is worth 3 ECTS credits (75 hours in total).
