Obiettivi formativi

KNOWLEDGE
At the end of the educational path the student will have acquired knowledge relating to the design of functional buildings in terms of energy consumption, and thermo-hygrometric, acoustic, and lighting comfort conditions.

SKILLS
The student will be able to identify and design solutions suitable for achieving the aforementioned purposes, both in relation to the building envelope and the systems.

INDEPENDENCE OF JUDGMENT
At the end of the learning process the student will have acquired tools to comparatively evaluate the validity of the standard solutions proposed by the industry both with reference to the building envelope and the plant solutions.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Carrying out classroom exercises will allow students to improve their communication skills with colleagues.

ABILITY TO LEARN
Students will learn the technical language and formalism required to subsequently deepen their knowledge of the subject through specialist texts and scientific literature.

Prerequisiti

To successfully follow the teaching course it is necessary to have acquired the basic notions of Technical Physics required as part of the three-year degree course.

Contenuti dell'insegnamento

The course aims to provide students with the application elements of Environmental Technical Physics relating to environmental problems, in all its meanings. The concepts learned in the Technical Physics course of the three-year degree are therefore applied to the solution of thermal, hygrometric, acoustic, lighting and environmental impact problems of works whose design is entrusted to an architect: from normal residential houses to offices located in urban areas, but also theatres, railway stations and airports, school buildings, hospitals, churches, etc.
