Reactions carried out at height temperature and pressure. Reagents cupboard management and organization. Outlines of toxicology. General criteria for waste management, decontamination. Critical review of the chemistry topics of D. Lgs. 152/06, D. Lgs. 81/08, D.Lgs.105/15.Operative models for chemical risk assessment.

Full programme

The course is organized in two strictly connected parts; the first part is propedeutical for the second part.
First part: refer to the classification, labelling and packaging (CLP) of chemicals, flammable limits fire triangle, extinguishers, explosive atmospheres, exposure limits (TLV, TLV-TWA, TLV-STEL, TLV-C), general criteria for the incompatibility of chemicals, management of peroxide-forming solvents, peroxide tests, peroxide reduction. Waste management, decontamination procedures.
