Learning objectives

The course aims to provide knowledge on the general characteristics of microorganisms and viruses, their relationships with humans and the defense mechanisms against infections. This knowledge is a prerequisite for understanding the principles and methods of the laboratory diagnosis of infection. The course aims to provide the student with the ability to apply the knowledge acquired in his / her working environment.
