Learning objectives
The course aims to provide the elements for a proper assessment of the risks of human activities on the environment and their effects on human health. At the end of the course the student will be able to know the main aspects and issues related to world energy production and consumption, “air quality” and effects of environmental air pollutants. The student will be able, starting from the basic knowledge given in the course, to acquire by himself the information, features, data that can be useful to know the main characteristics of systems and solutions used and/or for these broad areas (energy and air quality).

Teaching methods
Lectures will be held on-site in compliance with safety standards, provided that further instructions on the ongoing health emergency are not implemented. Supporting material will be available on the specific, student-reserved platform (Teams or Elly) and will include slide presentations, audio-video aids or video-recording of the lectures.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination.
In case of the persistence of the health emergency, the exams will be conducted remotely, as follows:
remote oral questions, through the Teams platform (guide http://selma.unipr.it/).
Students with SLD / BSE must first contact Le Eli-che: support for students with disabilities, D.S.A., B.E.S. (https://sea.unipr.it/it/servizi/le-eli-che-supporto-studenti-con-disabilita-dsa-bes).
Final grade will be the weighted average of the scores of the three modules.
