Learning objectives

To provide the basis of the mechanisms of disease, basic elements for the diagnosis, classification of conditions, treatment and prognosis

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of anatomy, and physiology.

Course unit content

Basic knowledge of the mechanisms of growth and development, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, eating disorders (endocrine changes), migraine, seizures and epilepsy; functional gastro-intestinal disorders; enuresis and encopresis; anxiety
