Definition and characteristics of Bioethics. Principles of professional ethics and the orthoptist's code of ethics. General principles of Criminal Law and Civil Law with particular reference to crimes against the person. Informed consent to health care. Organization of the National Health Service. Social Security. Social assistance and social protection of conditions of reduced visual acuity
