Learning objectives
The Bachelor of Technical Sciences Applied Medical is part of the integrated course of Audio-prosthesis VI and aims to enable the student to know and understand the analogic-to-digital conversion, the digital sampling and Bluetooth connectivity, in order to make a a correct prosthetic application based on a real clinical case

Course unit content
The theoric course focused on application of hearing aids in adults and children. Student will acquire competences on digital sampling, connectivity (e.g. Bluetooth), fitting and hearing aids CROS and BiCROS. Moreover, clinical studies will be taken into account.

Teaching methods
Lectures will be held on-site in compliance with safety standards, provided that further instructions on the ongoing health emergency are not implemented. Supporting material will be available on the specific, student-reserved platform (Elly) and will include slide presentations, audio-video aids.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination. The student must demonstrate that they have acquired competence on acoustic analog-to-digital conversion, Bluetooth connectivity for the correct prosthetic application
In case of the persistence of the health emergency, the exams will be conducted remotely, as follows:
