Learning objectives
The goal of this course is the achievement of good knowledge of the main clinical practices for the management of the ocular patient. The knowledge of the principles of the most common diagnostic tools is also requested.

Eyelids: principles of anatomy and related pathologies-lagophthalmos, ptosis, entropion, ectropion, blefaritis.
The lacrimal drainage system: anatomy and related diseases. Cornea: principles of anatomy and related pathologies. Uveitis: classifications and clinical presentation.
Cataract: definition, pathogenesis and related treatment. ocular ecoghraphy: principles and related aspects in the more frequent ocular diseases. Primary open angle glaucoma and acute angle closure glaucoma. Choroidal Melanoma. Degenerative Myopia and related ocular alterations. Regmatogenous and tractional Retinal detachment. Retinopathy of the prematurity. Age Related macular degeneration. Diabetic Retinopathy.
