Learning objectives
At the end of the training on simulators the student is expected to be able:

- to find canal orifices
- to scout the canal to the apex
- to shape the canal
- to fill the canal three-dimensionally
- to avoid ledges and blocks
- to prevent instrument separation
- to avoid apical transportation

Teaching methods
The pre-clinical exercises are carried out in the simulator classroom. Part of the armamentarium needed for the training is provided by commercial companies, while another part is purchased by the student.
The student performs the exercises on a simulator under the instructions of the teacher. During the exercises the student can consult his own didactic material.
Due to the emergency situation, lessons may also be delivered remotely (either in synchronous or asynchronous mode) via Microsoft Teams.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the training, the teacher assesses the quality of the exercise performed and, if necessary, corrects the student
