Learning objectives
The internship realizes a professional and practical experience of social service’s coordination or management and furthermore with a specific study, or a social study or research or planning.
Prerequisites
The Didactic Rules establishe how much CFU and exams the Student have to pass to be admitted to the internship
Course unit content
The internship is a training tool that allows the student to have a work experience with public or private organizations, in order to develop personal and professional skills.
During the internship, the student acquires a direct knowledge of the field work and also informations in order to facilitate the choice of the professional future (Decree of the Ministry of Labor, March 25, 1998, No. 142; Decree of the Ministry for University and Scientific and Technological Research, 3 November 1999, No. 509, Article 10, letter f).
University of Parma have signed a lot of agreements with public and private subjects in order to regulate training’s conditions.

Teaching methods
During the field experience the University manages some meetings, in order to promote reflexion and autovaluation beetween Company's Tutors, academis tutors and Students
Assessment methods and criteria
The internship must have validated and approved by the company's and after by the academic tutor, through the Ugov web site function's.
Other information
The internship’s development of according to the rules established by the University , allows students to obtain a sufficient number of credits (CFU), generally compared to the total number of hours worked from the host organization (usually 20/25 hours of training are related to 1 CFU).
Our specific internship in Planning and management of social services (12 CFU) is activated under the supervision of a tutor, who is a Social Work Coordinator or a Manager of a public or private service.
